This latest floral work juxtaposes the nimble fingers of a slender hand with the burning light of an open bloom. Currently untitled, it will be unveiled at the MOSI Museum of Science and Industry on the weekend of the 18th of November in Tampa Florida.

Hands Across Havana, a work in oil that represents a unity of purpose through the joining of hands, was the logo for the Relay for Life event that took place in April 29, 2005 in Havana. The original was on display from April 29-30 in the Havana City park by the Public Library. Read the article published in the Havana Herald for the event, reproduced here with permission.

Budding Venus, a stunningly bright watercolor with a dark subdued background is presented on museum board. This piece was submitted into the Creative Tallahasee art show in 2006, where June was awarded a cash prize for Hands Across Havana. Once again Zent captures the romantic beauty of the dew kissed rose in bloom.

This colorful portrait is painted in oil on canvas, 36 X 40inches in size. The subjects are the artist's grandchildren, who
were playing in the living room when June happened to have the camera ready. When Courtney offered to kiss the hurt away like a good older sister, Lily the younger knew she had the situation in hand.... A series of pictures later, the painting was envisioned. The original has recently been presented in a show entitled Spring into Arts and is the inaugural show at the New Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. Sponsored by The Lowneds/Valdosta Arts Commission and Georgia Council for the Arts as well as The National Endowment for the Arts, over two hundred artist were entered in the show by invitation. Sister's Kiss the Hurt Away

June Zent was featured in a recent showing which was sponsored by the Cultural Resources Commission, National Endowment for the Arts, and Arts Florida. Located at City Hall in Tallahassee Florida, the show was a great way to re-introduce her unique style. She was very honored to accept and displayed many original paintings and drawings. The show also featured the color photography of Cynthia Cannon and hand-turned wood vessals of Bob Fincher, and ran from September 24th through November 2nd of 2002.

The most recent showing of Artist of Paradise Gardens along with many other Zent originals was a three person Show at Florida State University Center Ballroom in Tallahasse,
Florida. June, Lee goldberg,and Keith Paget were honored by the invitation to display in this very beautiful setting.
The show ran from July - September, 2004
